The deep cycle AGM telecom series is specifically designed for use in telecom systems. With their front-facing terminals and small footprint, these batteries are ideal for shelf mounting. These batteries also help solve space issues on the floor or access problems on board boats and vehicles.

AGM technology
AGM stands for "Absorbent Glass Mat". In these batteries, the electrolyte is located in a glass fiber mat between the plates. The acid is transported by capillary action.

Low self-discharge
By using high purity lead-calcium grids, Victron VRLA batteries can be stored for long periods without needing to be recharged. The self-discharge rate is less than 2% per month at 20°C. This value doubles for every 10°C increase in temperature.

Low internal resistance
Tolerates very high charge and discharge rates

Large number of charging cycles possible
Over 500 cycles at 50% depth of discharge.
