Victron MultiPlus-II 48/8000/110-100/100 230V
The MultiPlus-II combines the functions of the MultiPlus and the MultiGrid.
It has all the functions of the MultiPlus and additionally has the option of an external current transformer to implement the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions and to optimize self-consumption with external current measurement (max. 32 A).
It also offers all the features of the MultiGrid with the built-in anti-islanding function and an ever-growing list of countries where it is approved.
PowerAssist
The MultiPlus-II prevents a limited AC power source such as a generator or shore power supply from becoming overloaded. First, it automatically reduces the charging of the battery to protect against overload. Next, it boosts the output of a generator or shore power supply with energy from the battery.
ESS: Energy Storage Systems
The MultiPlus-II is a key component in a Victron ESS. It is very flexible and can be combined with an MPPT solar charger or a grid feed-in inverter for PV systems. Examples and more information can be found in the ESS (Energy Storage System) manual
Uninterruptible alternating current (UPS function)
In the event of a power failure or if the shore power or on-board generator is interrupted, the Multi's inverter is automatically switched on and takes over the supply of power to the connected consumers. The switchover takes place so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is guaranteed.
Remote monitoring and control
In conjunction with a GX device (eg Cerbo GX) you can use the free VRM app and Free VRM-Üprtal Website to monitor and control your Multi and the system or systems locally (LAN) or remotely over the Internet from anywhere in the world. Access is possible from a phone, tablet, laptop or PC running a variety of operating systems.
