Victron Quattro-II inverter/charger 24/48 V
Multifunctional
Similar to the MultiPlus-II, the Quattro-II is a combination inverter and charger. It can also accept two AC inputs and automatically connect to the active source. This elegant solution offers numerous features such as a true sine wave inverter, an adaptive charging function, Hybrid PowerAssist technology and several options for system integration, for example 3-phase or split-phase operation and parallel operation.
Two AC inputs and two AC outputs
The Quattro-II can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example to a shore power connection and a generator or even to two generators. The Quattro-II automatically connects to the active source. The main output ensures uninterrupted functionality. If a power failure occurs or the connection to the shore power or generator power is interrupted, the Quattro-II takes over the supply of the connected consumers. The switchover takes place so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that uninterrupted operation of computers and other electronic devices is guaranteed. The second output only supplies power when AC is present at one of the Quattro-II's inputs. Consumers that must not discharge the battery, such as an air conditioner or a water heater, can be connected to this output.
Unique PowerAssist feature
The Quattro-II prevents an AC source with a limited load, such as a generator or a shore power connection, from being overloaded. First, the battery charging process is automatically reduced if an overload would otherwise occur. Next, the energy from the battery is used to boost the output of a generator or a shore power supply.
So practically unlimited power through parallel connection
Up to 6 Quattro-II can be connected in parallel if high power requirements are required. 3-phase or split-phase operation is also possible.
