Victron SmartSolar MPPT 250/60
A solar charger draws energy from solar panels and then stores it in batteries. Using the latest and fastest technology, SmartSolar maximizes this energy harvest and intelligently directs it to fully charge the batteries in as short a time as possible. The SmartSolar maintains the functionality of the battery and thus extends its service life.
The SmartSolar charge controller will even recharge a severely discharged battery. It can operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged
MPPT: Ultrafast Maximum Power Point Tracking
By continuously monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology ensures that all available energy is extracted from the panels and stored. The benefit of this is most noticeable when the sky is partially overcast and the light intensity is constantly changing.
Remote monitoring and control
You can remotely control and monitor the extensive features of your SmartSolar MMPT charger with integrated Bluetooth by pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your system has a GX device connected to the Victron Remote Management Internet portal ( VRM ), you have full access to your MPPT anytime, anywhere. Both VictronConnect and VRM are available free of charge. For remote installations - even if there is no Internet connection nearby - you may be able to control your MPPT by connecting to the GlobalLink 520 monitor.
