SmartSolar 75/15

A solar charger draws energy from solar panels and then stores it in batteries. Using the latest and fastest technology, the SmartSolar maximizes this energy generation and intelligently directs it to fully charge the batteries in the shortest time possible. The SmartSolar maintains the functionality of the battery and thus extends its lifespan.

The SmartSolar charge controller will even recharge a severely discharged battery. It can operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.

MPPT: Ultrafast Maximum Power Point Tracking

By continuously monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar (PV) panels, MPPT technology ensures that all the energy available is extracted from the panels and stored. The benefit of this is most noticeable when the sky is partially overcast and the light intensity is constantly changing

Remote monitoring and control

You can remotely control and monitor the extensive features of your SmartSolar MMPT charger with integrated Bluetooth by pairing it with your smartphone or other device via VictronConnect. If your system has a GX device connected to the Victron Remote Management Internet portal (VRM), you have full access to your MPPT anytime, anywhere. Both VictronConnect and VRM are available free of charge. For remote installations - even if there is no Internet connection nearby - you may be able to control your MPPT by connecting to the GlobalLink 520 monitor.

Load output

The 'Intelligent Load Output' function prevents damage caused by using 'empty' batteries. You can configure the voltage at which the SmartSolar disconnects a load - this prevents your batteries from being over-discharged. And here's the trick: the SmartSolar tries to charge the battery back to 100% every day. If that is not possible - e.g. in bad weather - it increases the voltage value for disconnection every day until it succeeds. We call this function BatteryLife because it maintains functionality and extends the life of your battery.
